Championing English Language Learners' Success:Empowering District Leaders

In today's diverse educational landscape, it's imperative for district leaders to be equipped with the knowledge and tools to effectively support English Language Learners (ELLs) in their schools. This workshop is designed to empower district leaders with the strategies and insights necessary to champion the success of ELLs. Throughout the workshop, participants will delve into key topics such as understanding the needs of ELLs, promoting cultural responsiveness, implementing inclusive policies and practices, and fostering collaboration among educators. Through interactive discussions and hands-on activities, district leaders will gain practical skills and actionable strategies to create an environment where ELLs thrive academically, linguistically, and socially. Eligible for 6 hours CTLE credit. Can use 1-1/2 Consortium seats. If district pays, district approval must be confirmed prior to start of session.
